IW FFA got the opportunity to take part in an awesome community service event. We started at four and ended at six, to “Feed the Farmers”. Some of us wrapped the burgers, some of us put the meals together, and the rest of us were runners taking the meals out to the farmers in the parking lot. Each meal had an apple, bag of chips, cookie, water , and a pork burger. Thank you Ford Iroquois Farm Bureau and Country Financial for inviting us to this event. It was such a fun experience and exciting way to give back to the community!

Kaia has finished her state run! Her day 2 score was an 89 - a 48 on the front and a 41 on the back. Added in with her day 1 score, this leaves her with a two-day score of 174 and tied for 45th overall!
Kaia has been a fantastic example of how your game can change when you put in countless hours of work. Kaia ended last year’s season with a 108 at Sectionals, leaving her 54th overall in that match, ending her 2024 season. To turn around and end 5th overall in Sectionals this season is just proof that hard work pays off. I believe she had her sights set on the 2025 state match the moment that last season ended. It has been a joy of mine to be her coach and to watch her high school golf journey so far. I know she will do the same this off season and come back even stronger for the 2026 golf season.
With the state tournament ending, the 2025 Golf Season has come to an end. We are thrilled with how the boys and girls did this season and can’t wait to see how they grow for next year!
Signing off for now,
Coach Hannah Fink

Kaia made it through day 1! She shot an 85 today - 39 on the front 9 and 46 on the back 9.
She will play another 18 holes tomorrow. Between the practice round on Thursday and round 1 today, we have walked 14 miles on the course!
After day 1, she is tied for 32nd overall out of 111 golfers.
The IHSA advances 8 teams and 40 individuals, and she ended up be the 20th individual to make it through cut today. We are so proud of her and these awesome stats!!! - Oct 10, 2025 · Iroquois West Community Unit School District 10
