IWHS announces the 2026-27 Homecoming Court!
The Iroquois West Girls Golf Team participated in the Class 1A Sectionals at Old Orchard Country Club in Mount Prospect today, 10/5.
The girls team placed 4th out of 12 teams. Kaia Kimmel took 5th overall with a score of 84. Sisters Kaia Kimmel and Kenzie Kimmel (senior and freshman, respectively) have both advanced to the state match at Red Tail Run in Decatur this upcoming Friday and Saturday. Kenzie Kimmel shot an 88.
Other scores for IW were Paige Miller 104, Karsyn Arie 108, Harper Leydens 124, and Alivia Albrecht 131.
Congratulations to all the Raiders on their achievements during this season!

⏰ The Schedule:
• 5:00 PM: Parade Line-Up begins!
• 5:30 PM: The Homecoming Parade kicks off!
• 7:00 PM: Powderpuff football starts back at the high school.
📍 Line-up Information:
We will line up where the school parking lot intersects with E 2nd Street, stretching along the high school/football field (and onto E 3rd Street if we need the extra room). The parade route will loop back and end at the high school.
🍬 A quick safety note for parade participants:
Please BE CAREFUL when throwing candy! We want everyone to have a great time, so please toss treats gently and avoid throwing them too hard or directly at the crowd. Let's keep it fun and safe for spectators!

Parents are now able to pay registration fees online for the 2026-27 school year. If you have not filled out the online registration forms please do so as soon as possible. You can pay online registration fees by logging into your Skyward account, clicking on the fee payment tile on the dashboard, and clicking the words “Click here to Pay Online” in the upper right-hand corner. This will automatically take you to the web site, E-Funds for Schools. You will then follow the instructions on the screen. If you have any questions regarding paying online or registration forms, please contact your building's secretary.
Iroquois West High School Summer Hours
The Class of 2026 took a walk down memory lane before their Graduation Practice. They were able to stop at each of our school buildings and receive congratulations from students and staff! Congratulations to the Class of 2026.
On Friday, IWHS Raiders boys basketball fell 34-49 to Lisle in the Beecher Shootout. Their next game will be Tuesday vs Hoopeston.
IWHS girls basketball picked up another VVC win tonight defeating Oakwood 45-38. The Raiders were led by Amelia Scharp with 16pts and Phyli Leonard who chipped in 12. The Raiders will face Chrisman on Wednesday night at home.
